He nodded and got up again, running his fingers through his hair. He grabbed the still full bottle of coke and drank most of it, setting it back down next to his bed for later. He nodded over to the direction of the door. There was actually nothing that fun to do around camp. The REC room was mostly for rehearsals too. 

She got up off of the bed and made her way to the door. She waited for Nate to meet her at the door before heading out of it. Mads had no idea where she was walking, but she was just walking around aimlessly. “So…..” She said to Nate and looked over at him. “Tell me something interesting.” She didn’t know what to say or how to start a conversation. That happened to be the best thing she could come up with without picking her brain to much.

He shrugged slightly. “I dunno. We can just do something else.” he told her, getting up and turning the television set off. He also turned the DvD player off and fixed everything in it’s place, turning back to her. He really didn’t have an idea on what they both can do that would be fun so he tried thinking. So far, nothing really popped out to his mind so he just sat back down.

She watched him turn off the TV and the DvD played as she tried to think of other things to do. She didn’t know the area surrounding camp very well, which left her with no idea if there was anything fun to do around here. “Well, what is there fun to do around here?” She asked as she sat up a bit. “We could always just wonder around until we think of something to do.” She gave a small shrug knowing that it wasn’t one of her best ideas, but it was better then nothing.

The movie passed and ended, the credits rolling, he turned back to her. “So what now?” he asked. He tried shrugging everything off, trying to pretend that it was nothing. But he really did like her, and watching her just sit there through a movie with him made him realize how really great Mads was.

When Nate began talking to her again she turned her head to look up at him. “Well, we could watch another movie or we could go do something mega super awesome fun.” She smiled up at him. “Not that I know what the mega super awesome fun thing is, but I am sure we could figure something out.” She kept that smile on her face as she looked at him awaiting what he wanted to do. As she stared up at him her smile grew just a bit as she thought about how she liked him. Her cheeks turned a little pink, but she hoped he wouldn’t notice.

He laughed nervously and kept his eyes on the screen, trying to brush it off. “Okay then.” he mumbled and took more chips to keep himself occupied. He hated that he got caught so easily. It was just that he found her so interesting. She was fun to be around with and she wasn’t like any of the other girls who’d be trying to get his attention. No, Mads just popped out of everyone else

She sat there staring at the TV she was unable to give her full attention to the movie. She wasn’t sure what had just happened, but it wouldn’t stop playing back in her head. As she stared at the TV she fiddled with her fingers to keep her mind off of it or at least try to. She didn’t know why it mattered to her what just her what just happened. A part of her knew it was because she didn’t want Nate to think she was too crazy or anything like that.

He laughed again when she recited the lines, looking back at the television before glancing back at her. Oh crap. he was caught looking at her and bamf, the next thing he knew, he was blushing too. He looked back up at the TV and tried to let it go but he couldn’t. Her eyes were burning through his head now. “What?” he asked her, turning back to her and trying to pretend he didn’t know.

She watched as he began to blush too, he was smart enough to turn his head back to the TV though. She couldn’t help but gap at him with wide eyes. She didn’t understand why he was staring at her, the movie is much more interesting then she is. She kept her eyes on him trying to figure it out and was taken aback when he looked back at her asking her what. “Um, nothing.” She said and turned her head to face the TV again so she could hide how red her face had become.

He laughed a little and nodded. “True.” he agreed and took small pieces of the food, putting everything into his mouth. He was totally hungry and he didn’t even notice it. He continued watching, glancing over at Mads every now and then. The movie went on and in a little while, Nate started to stare at Mads for longer. So many people were already pairing them up.

Without realizing she began to silently mouth along with her favorite lines in the movie. She had no idea Nate was staring at her, as they were watching it. When it reached the part of the movie where Darth Vader told Luke he is his father. Mads says the lines with Vader doing all the breathing in the right places. Afterwards she begins to laugh a little and looks up at Nate. When she notices him looking at her, her face begins to turn as read as her hair.

Mads took a couple chips from the bag that Nate held in front of her and placed them in her hand. She wasn’t used to watching movies with people so despite the fact that she knew every line in the movie she didn’t talk along with it like she normally did. Every once in a while she would eat a chip. As the movie continued she subconsciously put her head on Nate’s shoulder. If she had realized what she was doing she probably would never had done it. 

He felt her rest her head against his shoulder and smiled a little. He didn’t bother her as he continued to eat, just letting her rest against him. He kept his eyes glued to the screen as the movie progressed. He took another bag of food from the desk with his free hand, putting it down between them, still not disturbing her from his shoulder.

She almost didn’t notice him put another bag in between them, she had gotten to the point where she was playing with her fingers aimlessly while she watch the movie. When Darth Vader appeared on screen she whispered as silently as she could so she didn’t disturb the movie, “Best character ever.” A smile formed on her face as the famous music that played when Vader was on screen began playing.

Nate laughed when she did a happy dance, holding the chips bag over to her. “Here, go ahead and take from it.” he told her, nodding when she explained that she loved the movie. “Yeah I like this movie a lot too.” he nodded and turned the volume up a little more. Nate always had a unclear hearing so that’s the reason why he always had the subtitles turned on.

He laughed when she smiled at him. That must have been a sigh that he made the right choice. “Great then.” he told her, patting the space next to him when she sat down. “Here, lay down with me.” His bunk was pretty cool. He put big rocks on the legs for support and his bunk looked cool either way. In Marcus’ face. he thought.

She watched him pat the space next to him and hesitated a moment before laying down next to him. For some reason the thought of laying next to him made her a bit nervous, but she made sure she didn’t let it show. As the movie started she did a little happy dance sort of thing, “Sorry, I am excited. I love this movie.” She said with a wide smile spreading across her face.

He laughed when she said ‘Wow’ thinking that she was probably surprised that he had so much. He was a big movie buff. He had a lot of geeky movies. He had the whole Harry Potter collection on Blu-Ray, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, all the Star Wars movies and so much more collections. He loved Star Wars so he pointed over to it. “Let’s watch that. And then if we finish it early, we’ll watch the others too.” he nodded, taking more potato chips again.

A smile broke out on her face as he pointed to Star Wars. A part of her was hoping that he would pick that one, but she wasn’t going to admit it. “Okay! Awesome!” She said and walked over to where she noticed the T.V. and DVD player were and put in the movie. She was trying her best to hide her excitement as she walked back to the bed where Nate was. She took a seat next to him and waited for the movie to start.
